We are Shenzhen Jingdu Technology Co., Ltd, which is a company that mainly produces children’s playpens. We are reaching out to you because we are conducting a voluntary recall in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Our Gimars Playpen does not meet the CPSC safety requirements for children’s products. The included basketball hoop accessory can be a head entrapment hazard and children can become entrapped beneath the mattress, posing a suffocation hazard. Immediately stop using the playpen and keep children away from the recalled playpen.
The recalled playards were only sold on Amazon under the brand name Gimars. These products were sold between May 2023 and January 2024 on the Amazon platform in the United States.
To destroy the Gimars Playpen and receive a full refund:
1.Disassemble the playpen.
2.Cut the playpen’s fabric floor, the mattress pad/mat, and the basketball hoop accessory with scissors to ensure that the product can never be used again.
3.Upload photos or videos of the destroyed product using our online form at https://gimarsrecall.com/index.php/submission-form/. Or, email photos or videos of the destroyed product, your full name, preferred refund method and your Amazon order number (if available) to Gimars-Aftersales@outlook.com.
a. Include a photo of the on-product label with the“Gimars”name visible, in
addition to the destruction photos.
b. We will review the destroyed photos or videos within 3 working days, and after the
review, we will refund the full amount.
4.After destruction and taking photos, dispose of the pieces in accordance with your local garbage or recycling policies.
